During a panel at Thursday’s TVOT NYC conference, “Diginets: Why It’s Time to Take the Multicast Business Seriously,” talk centered on why dollars are flowing into the diginet space (a 114% rise since 2012). Janet Schoff, president and CEO, T Media Sales, said as transparency concerns grow, “You’re seeing places like Procter & Gamble shifting dollars. And people who get in early will get a bargain.” Agreed Todd Parkin, GM, MGM Networks, “It’s a massive value play.” The news looks good as content moves to where viewers are, too. BUZZR EVP/GM Ron Garfield said that while info from Amazon is just coming in, “The amount of viewing minutes is flooring us.”
